In addition, we are within commuting reach to all NY metropolitan area yeshivot, and children travel to schools in Queens, Manhattan and New Jersey as well.
Other community synagogues
We are blessed to be part of a wonderful Jewish community in White Plains and interact with all the local synagogues. They include:
* Bet Am Shalom Congregation
* Congregation Kol Ami
* Temple Israel Center
* Young Israel of White Plains
White Plains eruv
The White Plains community has an eruv that encompasses most of the housing market in proximity to the synagogues. The Hebrew Institute erected the first eruv in the area, which has been expanded by our friends at the YIWP who maintain the eruv on the community’s behalf.
